The thing I've
found the most helpful in keeping up with my workout program goals
is to really GET that it took a few years to get where I am now.
I wasn't super bad or eating horribly or sleeping 24/7 but I am not
super GOOD now or exercising 24/7 either, so it will take TIME.
As long as I'm working out more than not, and I keep moving in the
direction of fitness and healthy choices, it's really only a matter
of time before I reach those goals.
Another great
option for something to keep your mind busy while you're working out
is obviously TV, but I find that is only really an option for me on
equipment that is programmed to keep a certain pace or workout
routine going at the recommended speed. Otherwise I really
slow down too much and lose focus because I get too distracted.
Working out with an
iPad is pretty fun though, you can join any number of online
fitness/diet tracking services and the good ones have pretty nice
apps you can download from various app stores to keep you on track
on the go. Tracking is NOT
fun at first, but it gets better as you go along because the good
apps learn your favorites.
So have a great
workout, drink your water, eat your veggies and your fruits and your
good carbs and "Keep on walking!"

I switch out the
videos that I feature on this page, but never rely on your favorite videos
always being available online. If you love it, google
instructions on how to download a copy of your own as the owners of
these videos can delete them any time and you don't want to miss
your favs.
You can try other forms of POV videos, but running and jogging get
you pretty good mixed results.
