[yellow tail] 2005 Chardonnay

Tried this one while out to dinner and liked it, so picked up a couple bottles for the cellar.  Chardonnay makes a really meaty white with a lot of flavor.

It will be interesting to compare this affordable Aussie chardonnay to it's expensive French cousin, Pouilly-Fuissé.  In your face wines always lose when we compare them to their more eloquent cousins, so I won't be surprised if that happens again, but each wine does have it's place and foods it will go better with, so I think I'll always have room for both.
